The Emancipation Proclamation Celebration

Please help us, the Gallia County Emancipation Proclamation Board of Directors, bring history to our community. It is our mission to make this event bigger than it has been in years. We want to be able to reach every family in this community with activities, education, entertainment, church services, vendors, and most of all great food! The Board is pleased to announce that this year’s celebration will be held at the University of Rio Grande.

In September 2023, we are fortunate to bring to Gallia County the Annual Emancipation Day Celebration for the 160 th year. We anticipate this to be our biggest celebration yet. All funds raised will be used towards accomplishing our organizational goals. In order to make this event exciting and extravagant as we anticipate, we are asking for your support!

Please consider supporting our event by choosing one of the below sponsorship tiers. In exchange, you will receive some excellent community exposure and advertising. Also, your company name and logo will be listed in the event program booklet that we will provide at the event as well as on social media. Your donation is tax deductible, we would be happy to provide our Tax ID number upon your request.

We will gladly pick up your donation, or it can be mailed to Emancipation Celebration, P.O. Box 511 Gallipolis, OH 45631. For your organization to be included in advertising we must receive confirmation by Monday, July 31, 2023.
